What Is the Lumenis advantage?
The Lumenis Smooth Glo is an exclusive treatment protocol combining modalities that are used for a host of skin procedures. It works by implementing sequential treatments with IPL (intense pulse light) and RF (radio frequency) microneedling. This promotes the regeneration of collagen and elastin fibers in the superficial as well as the deeper dermis. How The Lumenis Legend Pro (RF) Works
RF energy technology is used to achieve thermal skin regeneration. By delivering focused RF energy in a safe and effective manner, the Legend Pro induces controlled heating of the skin’s surface which triggers the regeneration of collagen and elastin fibers.
Activation of the body’s natural healing processes occurs by applying RF alone, or in combination with ultra-thin needles. In certain applications a thin layer of the epidermis is punctured and ablated, creating micro channels. This encourages the generation of new and healthy skin.
