WHAT SETS XEOMIN APART?
Xeomin is dubbed the “smart toxin.” It is derived from botulinum toxin type A, just like its competitors. However, XTRACT Technology, an unparalleled process, is used to double filter Xeomin, making it a cleaner alternative to other botulinum toxins. Because unnecessary proteins are removed, only the ingredients absolutely necessary to smooth your frown lines are left. Thus, overtime, less chemicals are injected into your system.
USES
Xeomin was approved by the FDA for cosmetic use to smooth fine lines and wrinkles in 2011. It received this approval after two randomized, double-blind, multicenter, placebo-controlled clinical trials performed on over 500 healthy adults. Xeomin is also used to treat a wide variety of medical conditions in both adults and children.
Just like other botulinum toxins, Xeomin takes 10-20 minutes to inject and works by temporarily freezing facial muscles to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and to prevent the formation or deepening of wrinkles.
RESULTS
Results begin to manifest as early as 3-4 days after injection. Generally, results take between one week and one month to fully set in. Xeomin’s results last about 3 months.
